29th Dec 2006 - SM Rallying team register to compete in the: BTRDA Silverstone Tyres / Tesco 99 Octane 1400 Rally Championship

30th Dec 2006 - Get Connected! Wyedean Stages Rally - Entry in and accepted. Event Date - 9th / 10th Feb 2007
As of 15th Jan, 47 total in the 1400 class and 19 entries in class B8 !!! The first 140 entries have now been accepted, but 180 will run.

9th Jan 2007 - We welcome on board two new sponsors for 2007. Pro - Salubris Training Services, based in Swindon and covering the South West area and Yeates Cleaning Services, based in Lydney

11th Jan 2007 - SM Rallying team are off to the Autosport International show at the NEC to finalise sponsorship details with several companies. A good day was had by all and we caught up with several of our sponsors, plus talked to a few others

23rd Jan 2007 - Steve Gooch Estate Agents of Coleford, are warmly welcomed on board as a sponsor for the Get Connected! Wyedean Rally

30th Jan 2007 - SM Rallying have been invited to attend the official launch of the Get Connected! Wyedean Stages Rally, at Chepstow Racecourse. An excellent day was had by all, and the car adjustments made over the previous week worked perfectly. The comments from people given the opportunity to take a ride in the car were also very good. 10th Feb 2007 - Get Connected Wyedean Stages Rally Not the best run we have had, as lack of any grip and several excursions into ditches saw us finish way down the leader board. 14th overall in 1400 BTRDA Championship and 3rd in class

5th Mar 2007 - 2007 Championship Events. We have had a request to list the events we intend to compete in during 2007, so:
7th April : Get it Sideways at Down Ampney (Possible testing event)
21st April : Somerset Stages Rally - Minehead

9th Apr 2007 - Coleford Carnival of Transport. After missing last years event with the car having no engine, SM Rallying have again been invited to show the Saxo, so come and say hello

17th Apr 2007 - The BETTA Somerset Stages Rally - Seeded as car 226. Event date April 21st, based at Minehead. The event uses Brendon Hills on the edge of Exmoor National Park. More details closer to the event. As of 17th April, 32 1400 entries and 8 class B8. 109 total entries

21st Apr 2007 - Somerset Stages Rally. The car has come on leaps and bounds, and an excellent run on all of the stages have seen us get our best finish on a BTRDA round. 53rd overall, 4th in class - BTRDA Standings: 11th overall and leading class B8

14th May 2007 - Red Dragon Rally - Seeded as car 223. Event Date 19th May 2007. The event use some of the most famous stages in the world, Rheola, Resolven and Walters Arena.. As of 14th May, there are 108 entries and 31 1400's

21st May 2007 - Red Dragon Rally. The car has again performed faultlessly, unlike the crew! A small incident resulted in front damage, but nothing a few hours work wont cure. 71st overall, 3rd in class - BTRDA Standings: 10th overall and leading class B8

12th June 2007 - Dukeries Rally - Seeded as car 226. Event Date 16th June 2007. The event has moved start venues this year, to Southwell Racecourse, but the event takes place within Sherwood Forestry complex. As of 7th June, there are 113 entries and 36 1400's

20th June 2007 - Dukeries Rally. The car performed very well in the damp, muddy conditions. Time loss on stage 1 meant that we were playing catch-up all day. A few small problems also were sorted quickly at the service halt. Thanks lads... 77th overall, 7th in class - BTRDA Standings: 10th overall and leading class B8

4th July 2007 - Quinton Stages Rally - Seeded as car 231. Event Date 7th July 2007. The event is based around the Welsh town of Llandovery, and is uses the Epynt military ranges

9th July 2007 - Quinton Stages Rally. The car ran faultlessly all day, bar a problem with the intercom and having to miss crashed cars. The best event so far this year. We are getting there, if slowly! Report here. 68th overall, 2nd in class - BTRDA Standings: 10th overall and leading class B8

15th Aug 2007 - Woodpecker Stages Rally. Event Date 1st Sept 2007. This event is based at Ludlow Racecourse, and uses Rador Forest complex and Haye Park. No entry is as yet, as we suffered gearbox damage on the last round!

28th Aug 2007 - Woodpecker Stages Rally - Seeded as car 236. Event Date 1st Sept 2007. We have put an entry in and are hoping that we will be at the start in Ludlow on Friday

3rd Sept 2007 - Woodpecker Stages Rally. The car ran without any faults all day. The newly rebuilt gearbox has proved to be OK, but the tyres let us down towards the end with a dramatic loss in grip. Report here. 89th overall, 3rd in class - BTRDA standings: 9th overall and leading class B8

24th Sept 2007 -The SM Rallying team have finished 2nd overall in class in the championship with one event to run. This is better than any of the team could have hoped for at the start of the year, and gives us a great starting point for the 2008 championship
